TV Week In Nerdom 4-30

This week in TV news for nerds...

Carey Elwes and Jake Busey have been cast for the third  season of Stranger Things. Also That Hashtag Show is reporting that season three will focus more on the boys and other supernatural elements besides Eleven.

Witcher Season 1 got announced. Kinda. Sometime in 2020, no month yet, but this gives us at least a little bit of an idea of how much care they are putting into the show.

Conor Leslie will be playing Wonder Girl in the Titans streaming show.

HBO's Watchmen has released some character descriptions for the pilot episode. NONE of them are actual Watchmen or Minutemen. Meaning we are going deeper into the story than the movie or the original book did...

Westworld Season 2 is happening. I am not even gunna take a stab at figuring out what is going on.

Disney has announced a new Star Wars animated series. Star Wars: Resistance is coming to the Disney channel and then to Disney XD, NOT going to be part of the streaming service that we keep hearing about. At least not to start.

Ash VS The Evil Dead is cancelled after 3 seasons.

Matt Groening has sounded off on the Apu "controversy" that has plagued his Simpsons show recently.

What did I miss? What should we talk about next week?
