Ewan McGregor is in talks to reprise his role as Ben Kenobi for a Disney+ series. 

The Nevers
Joss Whedon is getting a series on HBO. He and some of his Buffy alums are moving forward with a new sci-fi series on HBO around a gang of Victorian women who find themselves with unusual abilities, relentless enemies, and a mission that might change the world. The series is now in the casting phase, and while none of the people currently cast are faces yet (minus, maybe, Nick Frost), this IS Joss Whedon.

WandaVision
Production begins september 21.

Haunting of Hill House
Amblin announced via their Twitter page that they will be releasing an extended cut of the fantastic first season of the spooky show.

Movies

Alexandre Aja Haunted House Movie
The Crawl director is set to do ANOTHER horror movie. This time with a different twist. Amblin Partners and Kino Industries will partner to produce the film with the later’s CtrlMovie tech making the film a pick your own adventure in the theater… interesting, if it makes it all the way through the development process.

Snake Eyes
Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) is in talks for a G.I. Joe spin-off movie, to play the titular character. Paramount looking to “put a new spin” on the G.I. Joe franchise, as well as Transformers.

Gaming

Timesplitters
THQ Nordic announced that they have brought game co-creator Steve Ellis to chart the future of the franchise.

Silent Hill
Konami files a new Patent in Canada before their trademark lapses on Dec 6.

Saints Row
THQ Nordic also announced that another game in the Saint’s Row franchise is in the works.

Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Blackest Night/Infinite Crisis
The Dark Multiverse begins with the one shots in November with Tim Seeley and Kyle Hotz doing a reinvention of Blackest Night and James Tynion IV and Aaron Lopresti take on Infinite Crisis.
