WWE
The coronavirus HASN’T effected one thing, wrestling. WWE has announced that RAW, SmackDown, and Wrestlemania are all still going forward as planned, just without a live audience. And looks like they will be broadcast from the Orlando training facility. Though, FS1 has announced that their Backstage program will be postponed as part of a studio wide delay for at least one week. The XFL, though, has been cancelled for the remainder of the season, with a promise to return next season and “in future years.”

Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon are set to guest star in the March 17th episode of the show.
Movies
Spider-Man Spin-off
Sony has brought in Roberto Orci (Amazing Spider-Man 2) to write a to be specified Spider-Man adjacent movie. Though some reports are saying it will only be loosely related to Spidey.
Bloodshot
Vin Diesel has confirmed that Sony is hoping to start a Valiant Movie Universe, starting with Bloodshot.
Coronavirus
More movies postponed for the scare: Mulan, New Mutants, Antlers, Fast and Furious 9(1yr), A Quiet Place 2, Peter Rabbit 2, The Lovebirds, and Blue Story. Shang Chi, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Carnival Row, The Flash, Little Mermaid, Home Alone, Nightmare Alley, Peter Pan and Wendy, Shrunk, and Riverdale production. ALSO: WonderCon and E3 have officially been postponed.

With the “Postponement” (cancellation) there have been reports that there may be plans in place for the Electronics Software Association to do an all digital version of the convention. Other reports say that Microsoft is planning their own digital only version of their planned presentation.

According to the rumor that announcement we were supposed to get this week (and DIDN’T!) was supposed to be about the fact that the Silent Hills game is back on. With the Silent Hill reboot in the works it COULD have some legs… or it could be wishful thinking.
