Weezer Plays On Amidst Personal Turmoil: In some unsettling news, Weezer bassist Scott Shriner's wife, Jillian Lauren, was recently involved in a police shootout and subsequently arrested on attempted murder charges. It's a visually stunning, utterly earnest love letter to the mecha and kaiju genres that doesn't waste time pretending to be high art – it just delivers pure, large-scale, awesome spectacle.

Fantastic Four: First Steps Forecast: Call me pessimistic, but the buzz around Marvel's Fantastic Four: First Steps isn't inspiring confidence. Initial predictions of "mid" might have been generous. Recent rumors and industry reports paint a potentially bleak picture for Marvel's first family's MCU debut. I suspect this one might underperform significantly.
MK1 Story DLC Prediction: Yes, I think the rumors are true – we will get another story DLC for MK1. My hope? It focuses purely on MK characters (maybe 3 new ones?) and leaves the guest characters out this time. Let the Mortal Kombat universe breathe!

allow players to essentially skip boss battles. Once a battle has
been lost, there will be an option to skip. In which case the game
will provide text like a novel of the battle and move on with the

as of April 16, Capcom is updating BOTH fighting collections. There
will now be a versus mode for all games, X-Men vs Street Fighter will
give the option to play in one of the 3 competitive builds, new menu
button options to help avoid opening menus in the middle of a match,
plus new art and music.

If you've got any interest in the roots of hyperactive tag-team
fighters, or just have some nostalgia for pumping quarters into
cabinets back in the day, this is probably on your radar. It bundles
seven games, including essentials like X-Men vs. Street Fighter,
Marvel Super Heroes, and the notoriously chaotic Marvel vs. Capcom 2.
They've added modern necessities like online play with rollback
netcode, training modes, and a museum feature with art and music,
along with the new VS modes. It's basically a convenient, legal way
to access these arcade classics on current hardware without the usual
hassle. If you appreciate that specific era of 2D fighters or just
want to see where a lot of the genre's mechanics got their start,
it's a solid pickup. Saves you time tracking them down individually,
anyway.

that will be producing the show is Flying Bark Productions. This is
the same studio that brought us Rise of the TMNT, the What If…
Marvel series, and they are also working on the Aang Avatar series.

performances, not afraid to get bloody or operatic. Eva Green carried
a lot of it. Victorian London, but all the classic gothic horror
characters – Frankenstein's monster, Dracula, Dorian Gray,
werewolves – are real and crossing paths. A mysterious woman,
played intensely by Eva Green, teams up with an American gunman and
an explorer to fight the supernatural darkness threatening the city
and their own souls. It's atmospheric, literary, bloody, and focused
on character psychodrama as much as the monsters. Basically, public
domain horror figures in a serious, dark prestige drama.

into oblivion. It's Guillermo del Toro indulging his love for big
mechs and bigger monsters. Pure, large-scale spectacle. Doesn't
overthink it, just delivers on the premise.

Four: First Steps-
Is going to underperform. I said in my prediction for the year that
it would be mid, but now it seems that even was a bit of an
overstatement. All rumors, and Deadlines articles, of late are
painting a much more bleak picture for the future of the first
family.

Yes I think we WILL be getting another story DLC. this time with 3 MK
characters and NO guests… i hope.
