Week In Nerdom 6-11 - Static X Update, X-Men TAS Return?, Ms. Marvel and...

UnEarth - Incinerate
New Video
From Extinctions that came out last November.

Static X
We talked before about a new Static X tour and album. Now it seems that there has been some progress made on the record. More unpublished vocal tracks have been found from the late lead singer, and inasmuch the number of guest vocalists has been severely cut to just one, Al Jourgensen.

When Clutch gets bored we get more music. They are planning on releasing the Weathermaker Vault Series throughout the rest of this year. Apparently they got done with their last tour and jumped into the studio.
Their Cover of “Evil” by Willie Dixon is the first offering from the sessions.

Dark Tower
Well now we know why Michael Rooker isn’t going to be King Shark. He has just confirmed on his website that he is going to be in the Dark Tower series in a yet to be disclosed role.

TAS is making a comeback? The original team that gave us the seminole 90s series is reportedly gearing up to pitch a continuation to Disney+.

Love Death and Robots
Netflix just announced that the crazy computer animated series will return for a second season. This time Jennifer Yuh Nelson will be joining as the overall director.

Lobo joins the cast in the most recently released promo for season 2. Which starts TOMORROW!

Dune: The Sisterhood
WB is looking to expand their Dune franchise to their forthcoming streaming service with a series that will focus on the Bene Gesserit. The Pilot episode is set to be directed by Denis Villeneuve, who is also directing (as well as wrote and produced) the movie. The exact content of the show isn’t known just yet, but there is a WHOLE BOOK on the subject. So, hopefully it will touch on at least SOME of that content.

Godzilla VS King Kong
Toby Emmerich, WB Studio Chairman, says they are aiming for a LATE 2020 release.

3 From Hell
Horror Fans be ready to take sides. Zombie released the first teaser for his next movie.

Ms. Marvel
Mindy Kaling told MTV News that she is in talks with Marvel to help develop a movie or a series about the young Kamala Kahn.

Collider says that Quentin Terantino is looking to officially make his mashup sequel to Django unchained into a proper movie. The story has already seen the light of day as a comic book put out by Dynamite Comics, but now Terantino is bringing in Jerrod Carmichael to help him pen the script for a film version.

Banjo Kazooie
Confirmed as DLC for Smash.

Cyberpunk 2077
The guy who called Keanu “breathtaking” apparently got himself a free collector’s edition of the game.

Xbox: Scarlett
One thing Microsoft didn’t really elaborate on is backward compatibility. Well it seems that scarlett is looking to be FULLY backward compatable.

Fallout 76
Looks like I have to jump on the 76 train finally. NPCs are coming back AND SO MUCH MORE. Battle Royale mode that actually benefits the main game, and the updates I was waiting for before actually purchasing the game. What do you think of the future of Fallout 76?

Comic Books

House of X/Powers of X
Apocalypse and Mr Sinister are making their return in the fifth books of each series.
