Pennyworth
KSiteTV has the synopses for the first 5 episodes of the pre-Batman show. It seems like the show is taking us even further back than anticipated as Thomas and Martha are not yet married. Will we see more of Martha’s family? Will it maybe allude to the first Batwoman?

Movies

Hunger Games
Lions Gate is going to be making a movie based on the forthcoming novel from Suzanne Collins. It is going to be a prequel to the Hunger Games series.

Justice League
We Got This Covered is reporting that they have a source that is claiming WB is looking to bring James Gunn into the director’s chair, and possibly writer’s desk, for a NEW Justice League movie.

Gears of War
Rod Fergusson, the big guy in the world of Gears, told IGN that the movie that is in production is set in a different reality than the game. “In order for the movie to be successful, it has to be a great movie first and a Gears movie second,” said Fergusson. “Basically the way that we sort of reconciled that was, we said, ‘oh the movie should be an alternate reality. It should not be dependent on the game story, nor should it influence the game story.’”
Cue internet backlash…
