Gogol Bordello New Years Eve Live Review | Generally Nerdy

It's about a day later than I wanted, but it's here!

The opener was a band called Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas. They were surprisingly good. Was expecting something a little more punk rock, and got something a little more indie/pop. That isn't a bad thing really, just took a song or two to adjust my expectations. Once that happened, it was thoroughly enjoyable.

As for Gogol, they were in good form both nights. The second night though was easily the better of the two. More so due to the technical issues of the house than because of their performance. The only thing I wished were different from either set would be that they had played my favorite song of theirs, "Through the Roof 'N' Underground." Otherwise it was absolutely a great show both nights.
